The CSAE 2012 Association Executive Compensation and Benefits Survey is complete and a detailed 114-page report of the findings is now available. Conducted in March 2012, the survey measured compensation levels, fringe benefits, personnel practices and benefits practices in 18 states, including Colorado. The survey covers executive and staff positions, budget size, association type, and regional location. The report is presented in two sections, one covering the entire 18 states participating and the other covering only the state of Colorado. Click for more information.

Legislation Action Regarding GSA Activity Wending Way Through Congress. Legislation related to restrictions ton government employee participation in conferences and meetings continues under discussion in Congress. The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) recently distributed an email discussing this activity and its effect on the conference and exhibitions industry. Colorado Society Association Executives (CSAE) was founded in 1952 and is the "association of associations" for more than 250 association professionals. CSAE brings together association leaders to foster professional and personal excellence through unique learning opportunities that inspire members to achieve more and guide associations into the future.

CSAE's total membership is composed of educators, CEOs, and staff executives of international, national, regional, state and local organizations, as well as companies who provide products and services to these associations.

CSAE provides association management education, information exchange, member services, and issues advocacy to its members and advances the public service value of association to the public.
